The Universidad de Monterrey is a catholic inspired higher education institution which was founded in 1969 by five religious congregations and a group of committed citizens with the purpose of shaping students with academic excellence and humanistic outlook.
As a result of its academic excellence, UDEM is part of the select group of universities in Latin America that are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the only institution in the subcontinent that is member of the Center for Academic Integrity with one site in the University of Clemson, South Caroline.
The Mission of the Health Sciences Division of the University of Monterrey is to forge technicians, professionals and specialists competent in the medical, dental, and nutritional areas, regarding behavior and applied technology, in such a way that they can professionally grow in national and international arenas, maintaining solid values, such as respect for life, integrity, appreciation for the human welfare and service.
Therefore, it promotes an academic process which links the educational process with applied research and work experience, allowing personal development.
