The Hospital Universitario ”Dr. José Eleuterio González” is a public institution devoted to rendering public healthcare services based on human health and education and the progress of the medical sciences in Nuevo Leon. Therefore, it is considered a department of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
